Our Sept 1 Vigil is rapidly approaching

Our event planning committee–which I fondly call Team Orange–is making the final preparations for our 5th Annual Community Addiction Awareness Vigil at the corner of Elm Street and South Avenue in New Canaan. We have a great line-up of speakers who will be introduced by our longstanding Emcee John Hamilton. Testimonials will be given by Devan, who works in New Canaan; Jack, a 2012 NCHS graduate; and Daryl McGraw, a man with 13 years of recovery and a mission to help those re-entering find long-term recovery and success. As in years past, we’ll feature live music; our Hope & Remembrance and our Resource Walls; and a candlelight vigil led by clergy from many different local faiths.
