Events

Each event serves the two-pronged intent of our mission, which is to provide support and education. While the focus of our parent support meetings is to serve mothers and fathers affected by addiction, our Monthly Pathway Sessions and Annual Vigils are to benefit our broader community.

Monthly Pathway Sessions

Our Pathway talks are to educate and raise awareness about pathways to recovery, using speakers who are experts in their fields. We meet in the middle of the month, usually on a Wednesday.

The sessions serve:

Annual Community Addiction Awareness Vigil

The Community Addiction Awareness Vigil, held in downtown New Canaan at the corner of Elm Street and South Avenue, is an annual event that attracts hundreds with the goal of honoring those who died too soon, and celebrating those who have found long-term recovery.

Through authentic, touching stories of recovery, we hope to educate and inspire not only parents, but all who are concerned about the addiction epidemic and want to help. Every Vigil ends with our Community Pledge.
