Monthly Pathway Session at the Y–Adventure Recovery

Tim Walsh, Founder of Adventure Recovery, will discuss how outdoor adventure creates unique bonds for young people in recovery. Tim is an outdoor educator and recovery coach with over 25 years experience working with youth in the addiction recovery and prevention field. He has developed outdoor programs for Mountainside, Newport Academy and Westport House. The meeting will take place in the Wagner Room.

The New Canaan Parent Support Group and the New Canaan YMCA have banded together to host the Monthly Pathway Series. The first session was held on January 17th, 2018.  The Pathway sessions take place in the Wagner Room of the New Canaan Y, 564 South Avenue.  The goal of the Pathway Series is to address addiction- and mental health-related topics in an open community forum.
