Each treatment plan is carefully customized based on what fits best for each person, combining evidence-based therapeutic methods with holistic approaches to support recovery on every level. The facility is located at the base of its own private mountain on more than 60 acres at the foothills of the Berkshires in Canaan, Connecticut.
Inpatient Services are offered at 187 South Canaan Road in Canaan, CT, and include a variety of options to meet patients’ needs. The Detox program has 18 beds, while the 30-Day Residential Program offers 58 beds for both male and female residents. Extended Care services are available with a Men’s Sober Living Home offering 15 beds and a Women’s Sober Living Home offering 5 beds.
Outpatient Services are offered at multiple locations, including 372 Danbury Road in Wilton, CT, and 480 North Bedford Road in Chappaqua, NY. These services include Intensive Outpatient Groups, Relapse Prevention Groups, and Individual Therapy. Medication-Assisted Treatment is also available, including Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol, along with psychiatric management. In addition, Recovery Coaching and Alumni Recovery Events provide ongoing support for long-term success.
Mountainside also offers specialized Adolescent Services, which include assessments, individual therapy, and group sessions, along with Family Wellness Programs that provide support to loved ones throughout the recovery process. Free Family Support Groups are open to the community to encourage education and healing for family members and friends. Further Recovery Support Services are also available in Manhattan, NY, ensuring a comprehensive network of care across locations.
