December Campaign Underway!

We thank all of you, for your past contributions to NCPSG. Again this year, we ask our community to think of NCPSG in their giving plans. While the physical toll of COVID has been reduced, the behavioral health of our community has NOT improved. Based on attendance and the stories at our support meetings, the number of loved ones who struggle with addiction has only increased. CONSIDER, that in the last twelve months there were approximately:
–100,000 US deaths from drug overdoses
–1,500 CT deaths from overdoses
–200,000 US deaths from COVID-19
–31% of US young adults (18-25) with a mental health disorder
Because the local needs have only intensified, NCPSG has redoubled its efforts to provide community resources through: 1) our weekly parent meetings; 2) our Monthly Pathway Sessions to educate on addiction, mental health, and recovery topics; and our Annual Community Addiction Awareness Vigil, with recovery testimonials, candlelight vigil, and resources.
In addition, we are upgrading our website and social media campaigns. For 2023, count on us to consistently refresh our community resource lists, which you can find on our website, our Vigil Resource Wall, and our New Canaan Therapist Listing.
