CMC Parent Training Workshop

CMC Foundation’s Jeff Foote, PhD and Carrie Wilkens, PhD will conduct a parent workshop to educate parents with loved ones struggling with addiction or in early recovery.  This workshop will describe the “Invitation to Change” approach, which draws on strategies discussed in Beyond Addiction: How Science and Kindness Help People Change.  These strategies include CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).   This workshop is free of charge, and includes a light lunch and beverages.
