3rd Annual Community Addiction Awareness Vigil
Join us as we look to create understanding about addiction and recovery through authentic stories of hope, live music and a candlelight vigil. We will both honor those who died too soon, and those who struggled and are working on their recovery. The event is themed Helping Each Other to Heal.
The venue is open starting at 6PM and the schedule is as follows: 6PM – Engage – enjoy live music, place a tribute on the Hope & Remembrance Wall, and get informed with resources from local organizations; 7PM – Listen – both parents and young people in recovery will share their stories of hope; and 7:45PM – Honor – participate in a candlelight vigil with lighting of candles by leaders of the faith community.
In the event of rain, the venue will move one block to 33 South Avenue, where the event will be held indoors at the St. Aloysius School Gym.
