EMDR Therapy for Trauma & Addiction
Linda Rost, LCSW is a Wilton-based therapist who specializes in using EMDR therapy to treat psychological trauma. EMDR therapy permits patients to discharge memories of negative emotional experiences which can desensitize them of both past trauma events and the current triggers to addiction relapse. Pathway Session: DBT Skills for Recovery
Please join us for a Pathway Session on using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to strengthen recovery from addiction and co-occurring disorders. Ryan Wade, MD and a woman in long-term recovery will address DBT from different vantage points. Dr. Wade is an addiction psychiatrist who leads the Silver Hill Hospital's treatment program for Co-occurring Disorders. DBT is the primary treatment modality used in this program.
