Ginny is a leading professional working with individuals, adolescents, and families in managing their ongoing challenges, specializing in helping them understand and cope with addiction and divorce.
Ginny grew up in New York City, attended Phillips Academy (Andover), Hollins College, and earned her Masters at NYU. She worked at Family Centers and interned at Arms Acres, providing substance abuse prevention and counseling for children in residential foster care. Her experience with individuals and group counseling is extensive, and since 2008, she has been working in Stamford and Greenwich in providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families. She uses evidence based treatment practices, including a 12-Step approach, DBT skills, and motivational interviewing to treat addiction, as well as proven curriculums for children in therapeutic groups. She draws from her own personal experience and education to provide the most individualized care for each client and family.
Ginny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Connecticut, a Licensed Masters of Social Work in the State of New York, a Certified Recovery Coach, has advanced training in EFT and training in the treatment of trauma. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and also works with the Lower Fairfield County Regional Action Committee to effectively treat and prevent addition.
She is an avid and competitive athlete and mother of two grown children.
