What About Weed: A Discussion About Marijuana

Does marijuana affect teen brain development?  What are the health implications of marijuana use?  Is marijuana addictive?

Come hear from two medical experts, affiliated with Harvard and Yale Medical Schools respectively.  Kevin Hill, MD, MHS, and Alecia Dager, MD, PhD will talk about the scientific evidence.  Dr. Hill was in New Canaan in 2018, presenting his “Just the Facts” presentation at Saxe Middle School on May 8th, 2018.  Kevin is the author of the book Marijuana: The Unbiased Truth About the World’s Most Popular Weed.   Dr. Dager is an expert in MRI and neuroimaging of the brain, who will use images to demonstrate the effects of marijuana on the brain.
